Guru Hybrid Elastic is a solid-core pole elastic engineered to combine the progressive stretch of hollow elastic with the crisp, direct control of traditional solid elastic. The result is an elastic that cushions the lunges of a big fish without ever feeling spongy, giving you the confidence to fish light hooklengths and small hooks while still being able to bully fish away from snags. It runs smoothly through PTFE bushes and puller kits, recovers quickly between fish and resists the abrasion and UV damage that shortens the life of lesser elastics. Available in nine diameters from 1.2mm through to 2.8mm, each colour-coded so you can identify a rigged topkit at a glance, and supplied in 5m lengths, enough to elasticate a topkit with plenty to spare. The lighter grades suit silver fish, roach and skimmers on natural venues, the middle grades cover general commercial work with F1s and small carp, and the heavier diameters handle bigger carp and barbel.
