About Avalon Fisheries View About Fishery

Avalon Fisheries is situated in the heart of the Somerset Levels near Westhay. The fishery offers two established lakes catering for match, pleasure and specimen carp anglers.

Moors Lake is the venue’s main match and pleasure lake. It covers approximately five acres and has 48 permanent pegs with comfortable fishing platforms. The lake contains carp, bream, tench, roach, skimmers, hybrids, chub and perch.

Heath Lake is a two-acre specimen carp lake with 16 pegs, including facilities for day and overnight sessions. It holds a good head of double-figure carp, with fish exceeding 30lb. Sessions on Heath Lake must be booked in advance.
