Had a good day yesterday fishing Meadow at the mighty Heronbrook Fisheries, finishing up with 93lb 14oz from Peg 30. Not quite enough to get near the top weights on the day, but plenty of fish and a good days fishing overall. I started short on hard pellet and had a few early fish before it completely died off. I then went long on pellet and managed a couple more, but that also switched off after a while. Tried the margins and only managed a couple of fish there, so with time running on I decided to come back short and switch over to corn. That change definitely made the difference as the peg came alive again in the last hour and 45 minutes, allowing me to put a few more fish together late on and finish with 93lb 14oz. Some unbelievable weights showed up around the fishery again with over 200lb winning the match and big weights coming from all lakes.
